Gojo Hibachi Sauce, The Original Yellow Sauce, Buttery Tangy Japanese Steakhouse Dipping and Drizzle Sauce for Shrimp, Chicken, Steak, Rice

Brand: Gojo

If you ever ate at Gojo Japanese Steakhouse, you probably remember the yellow sauce. It started as a simple shrimp appetizer sauce in our Kansas City hibachi restaurant. But something unexpected happened - guests began pouring it over everything on the table. White rice, vegetables, grilled meats, entire dinner plates. We can still hear our diners saying, “More Yellow Sauce, please!” Eventually customers began asking the same question again and again: “Can we buy this sauce?” For years the answer was no - because this sauce didn’t exist anywhere else. It was simply part of the Gojo kitchen. So we finally bottled it. Gojo Hibachi Sauce - The Original Yellow Sauce - is the same buttery, tangy sauce served to guests at Gojo Japanese Steakhouse for more than 40 years. Bright, savory and perfectly balanced, it delivers the unmistakable Japanese steakhouse flavor people remember most from the table. Unlike mayo-forward yum yum sauces, Gojo Yellow Sauce is lighter and brighter with a buttery tang that enhances food without overpowering it. The smooth texture makes it perfect for dipping, drizzling and pouring - exactly the way guests used it in the restaurant. While it’s famous for hibachi meals, its versatility is what makes it a staple in the fridge. Drizzle it over white rice, spoon it onto rice bowls, dip grilled shrimp or vegetables, or add it to takeout meals that need a boost of flavor. Many fans also use it on burgers, french fries, tacos and wraps - anywhere a creamy, tangy condiment makes the bite better. This is a true table sauce. No marinades. No planning. Just pour it straight from the bottle over hot food and enjoy. Gojo Japanese Steakhouse opened in Kansas City in 1978 when our founder left Kyoto, Japan to bring hibachi flavors to the Midwest. For more than four decades this yellow sauce was served night after night at the hibachi table. Today that same family recipe is bottled so anyone can bring the Gojo experience home. This three-bottle pack makes it easy to keep Yellow Sauce on hand for rice bowls, takeout meals, grilling and everyday cooking.
